Quidi Vidi Village - St.John’s Newfoundland

Quidi Vidi Village Artisans Studios venue image

Quidi Vidi Village is a picturesque neighbourhood located in the city of St. John's. With cod fishing roots stemming back more than 500 years, Quidi Vidi still has an active fishing harbour, but is located only a 5-minute drive from downtown St. John’s. The village's traditional Newfoundland architecture and breathtaking geographical features make it the most photographed area in all of Newfoundland and Labrador.

The Quidi Vidi Village Artisans Studios is a project of the Anna Templeton Centre that was designed to accelerate the growth of new craft enterprises. Ten Studios are rented by emerging craftspeople where they produce and sell their work in a supportive and encouraging environment. Community programming is offered in the public space and outreach programming supports home-based artisans.

Magnet Network Live 2025 Spotlight Series

Following the resounding success of MNL24 hosted in Toronto's Distillery District, Magnet Network Live 2025 is taking the show on the road as part of the MNLSpotlight series.

In 2025, we are partnering with regional leaders across four key regions — Atlantic Canada, Manitoba, Ontario, and Alberta — to deliver a series of special events that showcase the unique challenges, innovations, and opportunities shaping the future of work in each part of Canada. Each MNLSpotlight will bring together changemakers, thought leaders, and innovators, and will shine a light on how regional solutions are contributing to the broader national conversation about workforce innovation and productivity. Through these collaborations, we’ll explore the regional nuances of Canada’s evolving workforce landscape while creating space for meaningful connections and ideas that resonate nationwide.

The MNLSpotlight Series celebrates local leadership, innovation, and community, showcasing how regional contributions work in tandem with national stewards to create a connected ecosystem. Together, we’re building a solid, Made-in-Canada infrastructure for the future of work.
