MNL+ Adaptive Leaders

A National Leadership Platform for an AI-Enabled Economy

What is it

MNL+ Adaptive Leaders  is a national leadership platform delivered through invitation-only, regionally anchored executive tables. It brings senior decision-makers together to strengthen institutional readiness, productivity, and regional economic resilience in a period of sustained technological and workforce change.

Each executive table convenes leaders from across industry, post-secondary institutions, government, and the broader skills and innovation ecosystem. Tables are connected through a national network, enabling shared insight while remaining grounded in regional context

Why Adaptive Leadership

Canada’s leaders are navigating a period of sustained pressure — from AI adoption and productivity challenges to workforce change and rising expectations on institutions to adapt responsibly.

MNL + Adaptive Leaders was created to give senior leaders space to think clearly about these issues together. It brings peers into structured, trusted conversations focused on real decisions, shared challenges, and the practical implications for their organizations and regions.

Built on Global Expertise

Grounded in Regional Reality

The platform is convened by Magnet, a centre of innovation housed at Toronto Metropolitan University, with a national mandate to advance applied solutions at the intersection of technology, talent, and systems change.

MNL + Adaptive Leaders is co-developed with Lev Gonick, an internationally recognized leader in AI-enabled enterprise innovation. His work with Magnet brings global perspective into real institutional settings, supporting leaders as they translate complexity into informed, accountable decision-making.

Together, Magnet and Dr. Gonick connect global insight with regional priorities, ensuring the platform remains credible, grounded, and practical.

How the Platform Works

MNL + Adaptive Leaders operates through regional executive tables, each intentionally curated to reflect local priorities and cross-sector leadership. Each table brings together 15–20 senior leaders. The experience is designed to respect the realities of senior leadership roles and emphasizes sustained value over intensity. It includes:

  • Curated asynchronous insight modules
  • Peer-based executive dialogue and reflection
  • Virtual and in-person leadership sessions
  • Ongoing engagement across the year
  • A national in-person convening connecting all regions in the fall

— Participation is by invitation.
